This painting was inspired by a photo the artist took one lovely June afternoon in Maine. A floral fragrance filled the air as she approached the shoreline of Crescent Beach State Park. There, her eyes took in all the wild roses in full bloom as far as the eye could see. As she walked through a pathway that led to the oceanfront, she was greeted by pink petals tossed by the wind, leading to her eyes to the beautiful crashing waves. This painting perfectly emulates that wondrous feeling of stumbling upon such a beautiful sight coupled with feeling the warm sand between toes and the salty breeze against your skin.
